Connections Are Everything

The number one reason people say they join any association is for networking.  Through these casual exchanges, relationships are forged and important ideas shared, heightening members' abilities to learn and to achieve their personal and professional goals.

For the Johnson County Bar Association, membership luncheons are a key way to make those contacts.  Presented the first Wednesday of each month, from September through June, the luncheons have an average attendance of 250.  So, these gatherings provide a perfect venue for meeting colleagues and discussing issues in a relaxed atmosphere.   Social and sporting events offer yet another forum for mixing and mingling with attorneys and judges.

 The Johnson County Bar Association offers discounted CLE programs on specialized topics each year.  Not only do these help members satisfy their Kansas and Missouri yearly education requirement, but they also supply a wealth of information about a wide variety or topics...real estate law, criminal law, guardian ad litem and legal ethics, just to name a few.
